Hi, we currently don't have example projects for backgrounds but we have a generic character example project (https://github.com/Naninovel/GenericActor) that shares similarities with generic backgrounds. We also have a brief video tutorial (https://www.youtube.com/embed/Bl3kXrg8til) on Layered Characters that just like its generic counterpart works similarly to layered backgrounds.
