Hello
It would be amazing if you could make a Patreon page.
so we could support you in return for getting Video Tutorials Requests.
for more technical subjects.
If you had more free time in the future :)
Hi, Thanks for the suggestion! Unfortunately, I currently lack the time required to create video tutorials (and my spoken English is not good enough anyway). That said, I was thinking about hiring someone to produce the videos; maybe we'll figure something later this year. For the time being, I'd suggest looking into Unity's live help service: https://livehelp.unity.com You can buy 1:1 lessons there and I think they wouldn't mind if it's something related with Naninovel.

It would be great, since many developers using Naninovel are inexperienced Unity users (the huge number of questions in Discord is a witness to this). And the Unity documentation is often referenced.
It is much easier to watch a specific video tutorial to understand how to solve a question / problem than to dig into Unity and make guesses. Especially when you consider that the focus, positioning of Nani is on easy interaction with it, and not many hours of learning Unity.
That's true. What makes me hesitate is that some of the core Unity systems (UI, input, rendering, etc) are going to be replaced with more modern and user-friendly alternatives in the next year or two and I will likely have to re-write a substantial part of Naninovel to work with them (it will probably be Naninovel v2 at that point). And in contrast to the written docs, it won't be possible to edit the videos when that happens. On the other hand, there are already tons of videos on Unity, just not Naninovel-specific.
If I understand correctly, the main Unity systems will be heavily updated in the next year or two, which will cause a lot of changes in Naninovel?
Well, a written version with screenshots is good too. The questions are mostly technical and it is easier to write an answer to them.
Those. the creator of the novel does not need to understand the algorithms themselves or something complex in order to achieve the desired goal (that is, the video format is therefore not so critical).
The main thing is that there will be a clear answer with screenshots, and not a reference to the unity-manual, where try to figure out what exactly you need to change to complete the task.
For the Naninovel-specific features we already have such written docs with screenshots, short videos/gifs and example projects. For Unity-related cases see: https://naninovel.com/support/#unity-support
Hey there! Loving the content you're creating. Would it be possible to see more video tutorials on topics like [specific subject]? I’m also curious if you have plans to start a Patreon page for extra content or exclusive tutorials. I'd be excited to support you and access even more in-depth material. Keep up the great work! revanced

Hi, Thanks for your interest, but the situation has not changed. What I've replied here before still stands. Naninovel itself, as a Unity framework, doesn't really need extensive tutorials. The most complexity comes from Unity, and I have no plans to invest into tutorials for Unity.
