Commands folding

Commands can now be folded in our VS Code extension, allowing writers to focus on the dialogues.

To fold/unfold all commands at once, use Ctrl+K,0 and Ctrl+K,J hotkeys respectively. The bindings can be changed in the IDE settings.

If you mean overriding ICustomVariableManager, you won't need that. Just an expression function and a command, as I've mentioned before. You can store the variable values with the built-in variable manager or add a custom state, if you wish (see the state management guide for more info on that).

Not sure what you mean by keeping variables in track. For an example, you can make an expression function like GetStat(StatName, CharId), which will return the desired stat for the specified char. To set the stat, add a custom command, like @setStat StatName.StatValue char:CharId.

I think that's already possible with expression functions. Check the guide for more info and examples.

Нанискрипты как раз и сделаны для тех, кто не хочет или не может учиться программировать — для сценаристов. Синтаксис и семантика максимально приближены к литературным. Даже если сценарист принципиально не хочет думать ни о чём, кроме реплик персонажей, не совсем понимаю, какой смысл в эскпортирован...

Сценаристы в геймдеве, как правило, не ограничиваются только репликами персонажей. Однако, если по какой-либо причине сценарист у вас исключительно "литературный", он также может работать напрямую с .nani файлами, т.к. это обыкновенный plain text и может редактироваться в любом текстовом процессоре ...

Скрипты сценариев (.nani) и IDE расширение разработаны как раз для максимально удобной работы над сценарием. Для программирования используются C# скрипты.
